Happy Easter!

Well, here it is. The one and only shot on Easter morning. Why don't my children just smile all at the same time?

Burp.......clothes, that is.

So, I decided to make some burp clothes, since my visiting teaching companion, and all THREE of the ladies we visit are having babies. Oh, and my friend is also having twins, a boy, and a girl, and I needed a little something to go with her baby shower gift. I saw these on a blog, and decided to give them a try. They were really easy, and they are thick and soft too. Almost makes my want a baby. Ha Ha!

Conner wanted me to take a picture of his snail "family". He said the mom was taking the kid snail to the playground. It was pretty funny.

This week at school, they celebrated Dr. Seuss. They made these cute hats. Of course, Conner wears it everywhere, and even took it to bed. Ah, the joys of being obsessed with things. Last week it was a hat and scarf they made. This week the red and white hat. I wonder what will be next?

What was I thinking?

So, I've decided I look at too many blogs. I see cute stuff and it makes me think, "That looks easy, I think I'll give it a try!" Nothing is ever as easy as it looks, for me, anyway. This should have taken about an hour. Not for me! I won't even tell you how long it took.

Farewell, dear Shelby.

We had to bury Shelby today. We're not exactly sure what happened, but I think she got sick and died. She's been unresponsive and stiff for a few days now. Conner asked Matt if we were going to get Shelby out. Matt said, no, she died and won't be coming back. He said, okay, maybe in four minutes. Poor kid doesn't quite understand death yet. The kids are sad, but now they think we'll be getting a dog. Thinking that Shelby would outlive us, I told them a while ago that we could get a dog when Shelby died. Ooops. That didn't quite work out the way I thought it would!
