Hungry?

This is what happens when your 5 year old is hungry and you keep telling him to wait just a minute and you can help him. He does it himself. I'm pretty sure he ate half the box by himself. Of course, I had to tell him what a great job he did getting his cereal and milk all by himself. Even though, deep down, the milk nazi inside of me was freaking out!

Halloween

Ok, so this is a wee bit late, but here are some pics from Halloween. The older two boys were way to mature to trick-or-treat this year. (Whatever, they totally went around 9:00 when they decided they wanted candy.) They stayed home and "scared" the trick-or-treaters. Silly boys!

Logan turns 10!

Holy cow! I can't believe Logan is 10 already. Since his b-day was on a Sunday this year, we didn't really do much. We had taco Sunday, and Brian and Renee and their girls were here. I think he had a good day. We love our Logan man!

Wood....part 2

So, I had some wood left over and just couldn't let it sit there. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I made the "Scatter Sunshine" blocks. Holy cow, those suckers are huge! I don't even have a place to put them! Next time I'll scale it down a bit. :)

All grown up

No, not the kids. Me. I have always wanted to use the big saw in the garage, but it scared the crud out of me. I could just picture cutting off a finger or an arm. I got bored on Friday night and decided to give it a try. Yes indeedee. I bought the wood, cut the wood, sanded the wood, painted the wood, and made some Christmas presents for my nephews. It probably wasn't a smart idea to do while Matt and the older boys were gone, just in case I did cut something off, but I turned out fine.

The bane of my existence

This dress was a nightmare. I found it on a blog. There was a pattern, but very vague instructions. It didn't tell me how much fabric I needed, so I ended up going to the store twice. Not that I minded, cause I love to shop for fabric. When I finished, the neck was to big, so I had to come up with my own pattern and add another layer. Pain in the bum. Anyway, long story short, the sleeves are weird and it's a bit tight to get on and off, but dang it, the girl is just gonna have to wear it!

NASA

Matt, Millie, Mike and I decided to go see NASA while we were in Houston. Here are a few pics.

This robot with the golden head has fingers that can type on a blackberry. Pretty tricky.

This is a gynormous rocket. It's a lot bigger in person.

"Houston, we have a problem." Here is the control center.

The inside of a space shuttle. As you can see, you can't be very tall to be an astronaut.
