Gingerbread house

The boys had a great time decorating the gingerbread house that my mom brought for them. I was glad to have my mom there to help and oversee the whole process. She has a lot more patience than I do with these things.

Not again

I win the bad mother award again. Yesterday Parker did his little Christmas play at school and as usual I forgot my camera. Not wanting to miss Logan's Christmas program later that night, I actually remembered to take it. Turns out the battery was low and it died after the first picture I took. It wasn't even a good picture. I was clear at the back so you can hardly tell it's even Logan in the picture. When will I ever learn?

How sweet

Conner picked one of the last flowers growing outside and brought it to me. I wish certain others around here would bring me flowers.

Oh, no, not the boys too!

Ok, so Matt has a new hobby. Well, it's turned into more of an obsession. Anyway, he's all into the ham radio thing. Tonight I caught the boys using the walkie talkie's like ham radios. They even had their own call signs like "This is WKZP, over" Then they were discussing the foggy weather. They really sounded like the old guys on the radio. What a nightmare this could turn out to be!

It's already happening!

I can't believe it, but I bought a doll for our unborn child for Christmas. I just couldn't resist. It was fun going down the girl isle of the toys. I already have lots of ideas for next year and she won't even be a year old!

Pre-Christmas miracle

The bathroom is finally finished! I feel like it's an early Christmas present. I finished patching holes and painting this afternoon. Ahhhhhh, what a relief. Now our visitors can have a nice new space to get ready in.
